Vainglorious Contrition Framed Luster Print by Cami Thunder
Vainglorious Contrition Framed Luster Print by Cami Thunder
A nude woman lies stretched out among dark leaves, and directly beneath her a skeleton lies in the same pose, as if the line between them were the surface of still water. Vainglorious Contrition puts beauty and death in the same body at the same moment, and lets you decide which one is the reflection.
The original piece was burned and painted by hand onto an upcycled slab of wood using pyrography and watercolor, so the wood grain and scorch marks show through the whole image. This print captures the original, wood texture and all.
This fine art print is made on premium luster photo paper, which has a soft sheen that's partly glossy and partly matte. The warm wood tones, deep green leaves, and burned linework stay rich and sharp, without the heavy glare of a glossy print. It arrives framed in black wood behind a clear acrylic front, with hanging hardware included, so it's ready to go on your wall.
