Walpurgisnacht by Ken Kokoszka, printed on enhanced matte paper and hung from a natural wood hanger top and bottom. A young woman stands in profile with her eyes closed, a crown of small red roses in her long dark pink hair, one hand raised to her throat, bare branches behind her in the dark.
Walpurgisnacht is the night of April 30th, when bonfires were lit across northern and central Europe to keep witches off the Brocken. Ken painted this one digitally.
